Romulus Linney’s masterful play finds its way back to the New York stage after a 40-year absence. Set in present-day rural Tennessee, a group of faithful, broken Pentecostal outcasts finds solace, understanding, and strength in one another as they wrestle with their own serpents and discover their divinity.
Fleeing an abusive marriage, Nancy finds herself surrounded by a religious flock and their charismatic shepherd. When Nancy's husband, Coleman, hunts her down, battle lines are drawn and a fiery war begins.

Inspired by the true story of Dr. Walter Freeman a man who performed over 3,500 trans-orbital lobotomies in the United States, THE MEMORY OF DAMAGE tracks the journey of one patient, Calvin Wayne, as he searches to find out why he was given the procedure that has left him without any ability to feel. In a parallel story, Dr. Freeman embarks on a cross-country mission to prove he was on the right side of history.
THE CAPTIVES weaves together messages about capital punishment, gender identity, and the consequences of personal choice. Inspired in part by true events, including the botched 2014 Oklahoma execution of inmate Clayton D. Lockett.
