July 30th was the last day of our three week New Rites Collective Educational Program. The program which was sponsored by New York University's Steinhardt School of Education and Innovation Diploma High School served over 20 students from three New York City schools. Students earned two high school credits while studying several disciplines including play writing, dance, sculpture, Japanese Butoh, movement, Shakespeare, mask work, painting, and video and sound design, and ultimately created a performance piece called Voices of Confict which was presented to the public on July 29th.
